The hand-held trackball device (300) comprises the trackball (310) for controlling the imaging system based on the movement of the trackball (310), a transmitter for transmitting the command to the imaging system based on the movement of the trackball (310), and a housing (330) for holding the trackball (310) and the transmitter.
