Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a reactor by making the inside diameter of a coil small and to reduce a loss caused in the reactor when current flows into it. SOLUTION: The coil 13 is formed with a stepped portion on the inside winding start side 13a. The coil 13 is put on an E-type iron core 11 by inserting it into the E-type iron core 11 from the inside winding start side 13a to be put around a central magnetic leg 11a in such a form as to project toward the air gap 14 side from the central magnetic leg 11a of the E-type iron core 11. Due to this structure, the inside diameter of the coil 13 can be made small, thereby making the outer shape of the coil small, and shortening the total length of a winding of the coil to reduce DC resistance of the coil.
