APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ALIGNING MAGNETIC ENCODER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment method and an aligning apparatus for simplifying the aligning process of a magnetic encoder. SOLUTION: When the magnetic encoder, having a permanent magnet 2 for encoders that is magnetized vertically or in one direction to the axis center of the rotary shaft 1 of a motor, and at least two magnetic field detection elements that oppose the permanent magnet 2 for encoders via a gap and are mounted to a stator is fixed to the magnetic pole position of the motor; the rotary shaft 1 in which the alignment position with the magnetic pole position of the motor is predetermined is restricted at a specified position of a base 6; the permanent magnet 2 for encoders is rotatably fitted to the rotary shaft 1; an aligning means 5 for alignment is brought closer to a specified position at the outer periphery section of the permanent magnet 2 for encoders; the permanent magnet 2 for encoders is rotated by heteropolar attraction force; and the permanent magnet 2 for encoders is fixed to the rotary shaft 1 after resting.
