Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cleaning a surface within a vessel by detonation. SOLUTION: A fuel/oxidizer charge is provided within a combustion conduit 140 through conduits 149, 150, 152, and 154. An initial deflagration commenced in a first portion of the charge produces a final detonation at least in another portion of the charge to expel a shock wave from the conduit 140 which impinges upon the surface.
