Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorption thermal insulation duct provided with bending property or flexibility, capable of improving piping workability, having an excellent thermal insulation property and allowing mass production at low cost, and being gentle for environment. SOLUTION: This sound absorption thermal insulation material for the hose (including a tube and a duct) is (1) a nonwoven fabric cloth sound absorption material made of matrix fibers and thermally fused fibers and the sound absorption thermal insulation material for the duct having matrix fibers of 30 to 95 wt%. (2) It is preferable that density of the nonwoven fabric cloth sound absorption material is 5 kg/m3to 100 kg/m3, its thickness of 1mm to 100 mm, and its width is 10 mm to 1,000 mm. (3) It is preferable that at least one kind of the matrix fibers has a heteromorphic structure. (4) It is preferable that the direction of MD of tensile strength of the nonwoven fabric cloth is 5N/cm2to 50N/cm2, and the direction of CD is 3N/cm2to 40N/cm2.
