FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine capable of enhancing accessability to piping connection parts. SOLUTION: The fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine 1 is structured to have liquid fuel supplied to injection valves 17 of each cylinder by a pump 15 driven by an extension part of a camshaft (exhaust camshaft 4) provided at an upper part of a cylinder head 2. The axial lines of the pump 15 and the camshaft are orthogonal to each other, a fuel distribution pipe 16 for distributing fuel to each of the injection valves 17 is extendingly provided along the cylinder row direction at the upper part of an engine main body, and a low pressure fuel supplying pipe (input port 23) for supplying fuel to the pump 15 and a high pressure fuel supplying pipe 20 for supplying fuel to the fuel distribution pump are connected at the upper part of the pump 15. Connecting workability of the low pressure fuel supplying pipe and the high pressure fuel supplying pipe to the pump 15 is thereby improved, and visibility of the fuel piping connection part in an on-vehicle state is enhanced.
