Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass having higher refractive index to obtain a lens having a larger numerical aperture. SOLUTION: The optical glass contains, by mol.%, 20-70 B2O3, 5-25 ZnO, 5-30 La2O3, 1-20 Ga2O3, 0-15 Li2O, 0-20 GeO2, 0-10 Y2O3, 0-20 TeO2, 0-20 (ZrO2+In2O3+Gd2O3+Ta2O3), wherein (Ba2O3+GeO2) is 30-70%, and the refractive index of light ray in 633 nm wavelength is ≥1.70. In the optical glass, the glass transition point is ≤650°C, the internal transmittance of light ray at 400-800 nm wavelength is ≥98% in 1 nm thickness. The lens is formed from the optical glass.
