Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an article placed on a seat cushion from being erroneously detected as an occupant, when detecting the occupant seated on a seat by a plurality of weight sensors arranged on the seat cushion. SOLUTION: A front weight sensor group 13 composed of two weight sensors 13L and 13R arranged on the left and right and connected in series, and a rear weight sensor group 14 composed of two weight sensors 14L and 14R arranged on the left and right and connected in series, are arranged on an upper surface of the seat cushion 11. These weight sensor groups 13 and 14 are mutually connected in parallel. Since a load of a hip part surely acts on both left and right sides of the seat cushion 11 even if the occupant is shallowly seated or deeply seated on a seat S, among a plurality of weight sensor groups 13 and 14, both the left-right two weight sensors 13L, 13R, 14L and 14R connected in series to at least one weight sensor groups 13 and 14, are constituted so as to be surely turned on.
