SOLUTION: This separator 1 comprises a metal thin plate 30 and coating layers 31, and forms the coating layers 31 to coat a surface of the metal thin plate 20. In a separation part 13, the coating layer 31 contacts a catalyst electrode 21, whereby D.C. power generated on an interfacial surface between a polymer film 20 and the catalyst electrode 21 is extracted as a D.C. current and collected in a current collection plate through the separator 1. Since the coating layer 31 needs to have conductivity, for instance, a member formed by providing conductivity to various rubber by adding a carbon filler is used for it.
