INTAKE CONTROL DEVICE FOR ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device suppressing oil rise and improving oil consumption by reducing intake negative pressure during deceleration, and eliminating the necessity of any changes in an existing intake passage and throttle valve. SOLUTION: This intake control device for an engine is provided with a throttle valve mounted on an intake passage of the engine, an actuator opening/closing the throttle valve, an operating condition detecting means detecting an operating condition of the engine, a fuel shut-off valve controlling fuel, and a controller controlling openings of the fuel shut-off valve and the throttle valve via the actuator in accordance with accelerator operation. The controller is constituted so as to close the fuel shut-off valve and control the throttle valve to be opened via the actuator when the engine is in a deceleration state, based on a detected value of the operating condition detecting means.
