SOLUTION: In this construction method for the tunnel, a tunnel hole 2 is formed, a mortar layer or a concrete layer (a concrete filled layer 10 or a sprayed concrete layer 4) is provided on an inner face 3 of the tunnel hole 2, a cement crystal proliferator containing concrete layer 12 containing cement crystal proliferator 12A is provided on an inner face 11 of the mortar layer or the concrete layer, an inner face 13 of the cement crystal proliferator containing concrete layer 12 is formed into a smooth face 13a, and the lining concrete layer 14 is provided on this smooth face 13a.
