CUT-OFF MEMBER, AND CUT-OFF STRUCTURE OF ROOF PLATE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut-off member and a cut-off structure of a roof plate using the cut-off member capable of improving sealing performance against water. SOLUTION: A cut-off member body 27 constituting the cut-off member 24 is formed in approximately T-shaped cross section with a linearly extending upright part 25 and projecting parts 26 extending orthogonally to both sides from the upper end of the upright part 25. Both ends of the projecting parts 26 are protrusively provided with pairs of cut-off protrusions 28 extending while opening in bifurcated shape. A pair of cut-off bodies 38 formed of an elastic material lower in impact resilience than the cut-off member body 27 is attached among the upright part 25, the projecting parts 26 and the cut-off protrusions 28 positioned inside. The cut-off member body 27 is formed of ethylene-propylene-diene copolymerized rubber (EPDM), and the cut-off body 38 is formed of butyl rubber (BR). COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
