TRANSFER DEVICE FOR HIGH PRESSURE-GAS CYLINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device capable of safely and surely holding a cylinder of a large type to a small type. SOLUTION: This transfer device is provided with a cylinder holding mechanism for holding a gas cylinder 1 in an upright attitude, and transfers the gas cylinder 1 to a cylinder shipment area of a gas filling-up factory. The cylinder holding mechanism is constituted by a first holding member 4 for supporting an upper side body part of the gas cylinder 1, and a second holding member 5 for supporting a bottom part, and holds the gas cylinder from the upper and the lower. A plurality of the cylinder holding mechanisms are respectively assembled and supported on a movable base 2 supported through a lifting and lowering support mechanism and an advancing and retreating support mechanism so as to be freely lifted, lowered, advanced and retreated, and thereby a plurality of the gas cylinders 1 are respectively held on a machine frame arranged for a cylinder shipment stage by the respective cylinder holding mechanisms, and they are collectively arranged in the upright attitude in parallel along the transfer direction of a cylinder stock device arranged on the cylinder shipment stage, and can be transferred to freely reciprocating pallets G-1.
