Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing iron loss while securing the permeability of a ring portion that holds magnetic portions, and advantageous to the improvement of the performance of the rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: The rotor 5 of the rotating electric machine comprises a rotor body 50, which has a flange 51 that is mounted on a rotating shaft 2 and rotated around an axis of rotation P and a ring 55 that is formed integrally with the flange 51 having inside circumferential region 57 and the outside circumferential region 58 along the axis of rotation, and a plurality of magnets 7 which are held at intervals in the circumferential direction on either of the inside circumferential region 57 and the outside circumferential region 58 of the ring portion 55 of the rotor body 50. A holding region 63 holds at least the magnets 7 of the corresponding one of the inside circumferential region 57 and the outside circumferential region 58 of the ring 55, and is formed with cast iron of a ferrite system as a base material. As a result, the magnetic permeability in the holding region 63 can be enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
