CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, CONTENT REPEATING DEVICE, AND CONTENT REPEATING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a client device to output contents of various formats distributed from content distribution servers without installing multiple output means in the client device. SOLUTION: When the client device 20 is communicably connected to a content repeating device 40, a list showing broadcasting stations or media providing the contents is sent to the client device 20 from the repeating device 40. When the client device 20 selects a broadcasting station 50, a content request information is sent to the content repeating device 40. According to the request, the content is received by the repeating device 40, and converted to digital video information in a content format conversion unit 44. The format conversion is further executed based on content format information stored in a format information storage unit 46, and then the converted content is sent to the client device 20.
