Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and an image processing program which can obtain an excellent dot dispersion regardless of an occupation rate of dots per unit area, when halftoning processing using the digital halftoning method of a decorrelation type is performed. SOLUTION: Image processing is performed by quantizing multi-gradation image data to be converted into outputting image data of a pseudo halftone. When two kinds or more dots whose occupation rates per unit area are different from each other exist in the multi-gradation data, and the sum of the occupation rates of dots does not exceed 100 %, an arrangement is performed to a dot appearance information arrangement of dots whose occupation rate is high, and then an arrangement is performed to a dot appearance information arrangement of dots whose occupation rate is low. When two kinds or more dots whose occupation rates per unit area are different from each other exist in the multi-gradation image data, and the sum of the occupation rates of dots exceeds 100 %, an arrangement is performed to a dot appearance information arrangement of dots whose occupation rate is low, and then an arrangement is performed to a dot appearance information arrangement of dots whose occupation rate is high.
