SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell 20 contains a first base body 101 having a translucent substrate 1 (a glass substrate, e.g.), and a semiconductor electrode 3 (made of titania for example) comprising a translucent conductive layer 21 (made of FTO, e.g.) formed on one surface of the translucent substrate 1 and sensitizing dye (metal complex dye, e.g.), a substrate 4, a second base body 102 having a catalyst layer 51 formed on the one surface of the substrate 4, an electrolyte layer 6 (containing electrolyte comprising I2and LiI, e.g.) arranged between the semiconductor electrode 3 and the catalyst layer 51, a first current collecting electrode 71 installed on the other surface of the translucent substrate 1, and a through hole conductor 11 connecting the first current collecting electrode 71 and the translucent conductive layer 21. A second current collecting electrode 72 installed on the other surface of the substrate 4 and a through hole conductor 41 connecting the second current collecting electrode 72 and the catalyst layer 51 may be installed like a dye-sensitized solar cell 203.
