PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents partial charging method and an information recording/reproducing device and an information reproducing device and an information recording medium for selling an information recording medium in which a plurality of contents are recorded as package software at a store or by a mail order, and for charging every content. SOLUTION: At the time of reproducing contents in which any content reproduction permission information is not recorded, a user terminal communicates with a server terminal, and charges the contents to be reproduced, and records content reproduction permission information corresponding to the contents to be reproduced. At the time of reproducing contents in which the content reproduction permission information is recorded, the user terminal is enabled to reproduce the contents without being additionally charged for the contents.
