Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new probe for mass spectrometry capable of increasing measurement precision as compared with a known mass spectrometry probe, when applying to the determination of an objective material, especially a biological sample, such as protein and DNAs. SOLUTION: The probe for mass spectrometry has a structure expressed by a general expression [I] R1-X-A-R2. In this case, R1indicates a mass probe section that becomes an ion in a solvent; X indicates a photocleavage section made of structure cleaved by light irradiation; A indicates a spacer section that may exist or not and comprises an arbitrary structure when the spacer section exists; and R2indicates a connection section that can be connected to other substances.
