Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decision method for repellency of a substance including a repellent, capable of deciding repellent effect of a container or the like including the repellent of a sanitary insect pest in a short time with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In this repellency decision method for the substance including the repellent of the sanitary insect pest, the sheet-like or film-like substance including the repellent of the sanitary insect pest and another sheet-like or film-like substance are adjacently provided on the same plane, a plurality of sanitary insect pests are sequentially provided for a test in a boundary portion thereof at prescribed distances and/or time intervals such that the sanitary insect pests do not closely contact with each other, and the repellency is decided on the basis of a measurement value of the number of the sanitary insect pests in each substance to which the sanitary insect pests move.
