Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device for gasket clamping margin control by which a gasket clamping margin can be appropriately confirmed even if there exist variations in the thickness of a gasket and the depth of a groove for gasket installation due to differences in manufacturing lots. SOLUTION: The measuring device is equipped with a gasket thickness measuring means 1 for measuring the thickness A of a gasket G, a groove depth measuring means 2 for measuring the depth B of a groove F1 for gasket installation in a flange F, a clearance dimension measuring means 3 for measuring a clearance dimension C between flanges mounted in the gasket G, and a clamping margin computing means 4 for computing a clamping margin ΔA of the gasket G from the thickness A of the gasket G, the depth B of the groove F1 for gasket installation and the clearance dimension C between the flanges which are measured by respective measuring means.
