RANKINE CYCLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Rankine cycle device with an operating medium supply system having simple and compact construction for automatically returning an operating medium delivered out of a circulation system into the circulation system in a proper return amount. SOLUTION: The Rankine cycle device 10 comprises a closed operating medium circuit consisting of an evaporator 11, an expansion machine 12, a condenser 13, a closed tank 41 and a water supply pump unit 14. The Rankine cycle device also has a trapping mechanism for trapping the operating medium delivered out of the operating medium circuit, an open tank 32 for storing the operating medium, and a liquid phase operating medium returning device for returning liquid phase operating medium stored in the opening tank to any position of a circuit portion of the operating medium circuit ranging from the outlet of the expansion machine via the condenser to the suction port of the supply pump.
