FUNCTION EXPANSION CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function expansion card of high durability and reliability that is suited for miniaturization while enhancing operability so that a memory card can be smoothly inserted and removed. SOLUTION: A CF (Compact Flash) card 1, for use as it is removably inserted into a slot provided in a casing of a small electronic device, comprises a slot 11 into which a holder 4 provided on a side of a case 10 and having an SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card 4 is removably inserted; a terminal provided inside the case 10 for making an electrical connection with the SIM card 5; a guide rail provided on the inner surface of the case for guiding the holder 4 when it is inserted into the case 10; a stop means provided on the inner surface of the case 10 for keeping the holder 4 from sliding into the case past a predetermined position; and an operating part provided at one end of the holder 4 which blocks the slot 11 when the other end of the holder 4 is inserted to the innermost part of the case 10.
