Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing pyridine-2-boronic acid ester. SOLUTION: This method for producing the pyridine-2-boronic ester of formula (1) is provided by (process 1) forming an organometallic compound (III) by performing the reaction of 2-halopyridine (II) with a metallizing reagent, then (process 2) forming a pyridine-boron complex (V) by performing the reaction of the compound (III) with a suitable boronic acid ester (IV) and finally performing the reaction of the complex salt (V) with a proton donor to remove an ester group on the boron.
