PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of deciding whether an imaging signal from an imaging camera has camera shake generated therein. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus which processes the imaging signal from the interlaced scanning type imaging camera 39 is equipped with a field division part 44, which divides the imaging signal from the imaging camera into odd numbered fields and even numbered fields, a coordinate comparison part 48 which compares and calculate the coordinates of corresponding positions of respective pieces of field data, and a decision part 49, which decides whether the quantity of a shift in coordinate between corresponding positions of odd field data and even field data through the comparison by the coordinate comparison part is within a prescribed value.
