DRIVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain higher positioning accuracy in a driving device in which an ultrasonic motor is made as a driving source of a movable body. SOLUTION: The driving device is composed of a driving body; first/second piezoelectric elements, which are arranged on one straight line so as to clamp the driving body, whose one ends are respectively fixed to the driving body, and whose the other ends are fixed to a holding part formed to a body; and a third piezoelectric element which is arranged orthogonally to the first/second piezoelectric elements whose one end is fixed to a friction member abutting on the movable body, and whose the other end is fixed to the driving body. The movable body is composed so as to be movable by elliptically driving the friction member by impressing an AC voltage to the first or the third piezoelectric element in a prescribed cycle in the driving device. The driving device is characterized in that a guide by which the driving body can be moved in parallel to the moving direction of the movable body, is formed to the driving body.
