Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector apparatus reduced in size and improved in measuring accuracy of the distance up to a screen by using a combination of a distance measuring apparatus of active system and a distance measuring apparatus of passive system. SOLUTION: Using distance measuring data from the projector apparatus 2 to the approximate center region of the screen 1 which is measured by the active distance measuring apparatus 20 as reference, measuring data of the passive distance measuring apparatuses 30, 40 having values within a predetermined range from the distance measuring data are selected and angle operation is performed. Accordingly, the measuring data of a screen edge having high possibility of including an error in the measured data are removed, and only the distance measuring data of the approximate center region of the screen 1 and its peripheral portion in which high-accuracy data is acquired are used.
