MOLTEN METAL FEEDING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal feeding mechanism which is replenished with good molten metal using an atmospheric pressure difference and capable of feeding molten metal efficiently. SOLUTION: The molten metal feeding mechanism is equipped with a first chamber whose internal pressure can be adjusted by exhaust; a first molten metal tank which is arranged in the first chamber and reserves molten metal; a second chamber arranged outside of the first chamber; a second molten metal tank which is arranged in the second chamber and reserves molten metal; a first transfer pipe which is connected between the first molten metal tank and the second molten metal tank, and capable of transferring the molten metal kept in the second molten metal tank to the first molten metal tank; a first open/close valve which is provided to the first transfer pipe and located outside of the first chamber and the second chamber; and first heaters which are provided to the external surfaces of the first molten metal tank, the second molten metal tank, and the first transfer pipe. The first chamber is exhausted, and a hole bored in a work is filled up with the molten metal reserved in the first molten metal tank. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
