Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-zinc battery having an improved discharge characteristic by reducing resistance between a positive electrode and a separator. SOLUTION: This air-zinc battery is so structured that an air diffusion layer, a water-repellent layer, a positive electrode catalyst layer and a separator are sequentially stacked in a positive electrode can having an air hole and disposed oppositely to a gelatinous zinc negative electrode housed in a negative electrode case by interlaying the separator. The separator has a first layer formed of a translucent film or a fine porous film and a second layer formed of a non-woven fabric or a woven fabric.
