AUDIO DATA COMPRESSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio data compression method capable of deleting or reducing the unvoiced output between a plurality of musical pieces such that the audio data can be naturally heard. SOLUTION: If the frame of the trailer of the first music is insufficient by five samples as shown in Figure (a), the five samples at the top of the second music shown in Figure (b) is read out of a PCM data memory buffer and is input into a data processing section. The data processing section inserts the five samples at the top of the second music into the trailer of the first music and outputs the same as one frame to a data compression section where encoding of the first music is performed. In such a case, the second music can also be subjected to the frame processing from the top portion of the second music and the samples can be output from the data processing section to the data compression section and it is also possible to form the first one frame exclusive of the five samples inputted to the first music and to input the same to the data compression section as shown in Figure (c).
