SOLUTION: The lubricant composition contains (A) at least one kind of a compound selected from the group consisting of a nitrogen-containing compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1is a 1-30C hydrocarbon group or a 1-30C hydrocarbon group having functionality; R2to R4are each individually a 1-30C hydrocarbon group, a 1-30C hydrocarbon group having functionality, or hydrogen; and X1and X2are each individually oxygen or sulfur), and an acid-modified derivative thereof in a lubricant base oil.
