Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device which is structurally simplified to be made compact in size, generates fewer troubles, and can easily cope with the size change of a packaging body (A) to be produced. SOLUTION: A long sheet (1) transferred one by one is folded in its width direction for forming a front face sheet part (1a) and a back face sheet part (1b). A side seal part (11) is formed in its downstream side by heating and pressing the sheet parts (1a) and (1b) excluding both top band shaped areas (17) and (18) along the part (1a) top side and the part (1b) top side. A lateral cut is formed extending laterally from the top of the side seal part (11), both top band shaped areas (17) (18) are guided to be apart in its downstream side, and an item to be filled is filled in a downward bag part (16) between the areas (17) and (18) mutually guided apart.
