UNLOADED SHOT PREVENTING MECHANISM FOR NAILING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unloaded shot preventing mechanism for a nailing machine applicable to a magazine, into which finishing nails having a nail shaft part with a very thin diameter are loaded, and capable of preventing the unloaded shot by surely detecting a state that the number of the nails are reduced below a prescribed number. SOLUTION: A nail detecting lever 36, in which a detection end 35 capable of advancing into a nail storage part 26 of the magazine 18 is formed to one side across the nail storage part 26 of the magazine 18, is arranged freely rotatably between the lowermost pusher 27a and a pusher 27 above it. The lower end of an unloaded shot preventing arm 33, whose upper end is arranged in the vicinity of a starting means 22 and which starts and operates the nailing machine 10 in cooperation with the starting means 22, is arranged oppositely to the end part on the side opposite to the detection end 35 of the nail detection lever 36. Further, a detection end storage part (39) for storing the detection end 35 of the nail detection lever 36 is formed to the other side across the nail storage part 26 of the magazine 18.
