APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TOOTH POLISHING BY DENTAL FLOSSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which locates and moves a flexible member in a space to perform various works using the flexible member. SOLUTION: The apparatus for laparoscopy includes a laparoscope having a penetration channel and an apparatus which locates and moves a flexible element which is inserted in the above channel in a body cavity. The above apparatus includes first and second handles and a floss type flexible element. Each of the above handles has penetration channel means to receive the above flexible element. The above flexible element constitutes a loop between the handles through the channel means and the flexible element can move freely in the channel means. The loop adjoins the facing ends of the two handles and includes a working piece of the flexible element which is extended between the handles. The handles can mutually move freely in the space besides the restriction applied by the loop so that the working piece can be located and moved by the operation of the handles and the loop.
