Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal electrode that can be manufactured with an improvement in working efficiency, and has reduced problems in terms of storage and management after the manufacture to the utmost, and to provide a method for manufacturing the internal electrode. SOLUTION: The internal electrode 11 comprises silver chloride powder 35 that is squeezed, by covering an Ag wire 14a in an opening 33 at the end section of a capillary; and a water-absorbing rod-like plug body 40 that is inserted into the tip open region of the opening 33 at the end section of the capillary for fixing the silver chloride powder 35 to the opening 33 at the end section of the capillary for arrangement and fixation.
