SAFE FOR DISASTER PREVENTION/CRIME PREVENTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe for disaster prevention/crime prevention, which cannot be taken away once installed, is installable in a room as one of interior ornaments by camouflaging the appearance of the safe, and exerts very safe and secure disaster prevention/crime prevention performance. SOLUTION: The safe is formed of a rectangular parallelepiped outer box (6) having six flat surfaces without irregularities, and an inner box (10) movably arranged inside the outer box. The outer box (6) has its bottom wall (2) fixed to a floor surface (F). The safe is comprised of a drive locking mechanism (40) for locking a drive unit (20) for driving the inner box to a predetermined location of the outer box, a locking mechanism (25) for locking movement of the inner box, a wireless locking mechanism (37), and a key locking mechanism (41) for locking an openable door (12) of the inner box. Then the drive locking mechanism is mounted on the outer box, and upon emission of radio waves from the wireless locking mechanism, the locking mechanism is released, so that the inner box is driven to the predetermined location, whereby the key locking mechanism is rendered operable from the outside.
