Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a patterned nonwoven fabric, by which the patterned nonwoven fabric having a strong and clear pattern can efficiently be produced in good productivity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the patterned nonwoven fabric comprises (a) a process for laminating substrate fiber layers 10, 30 selected from the group consisting of a nonwoven fabric and a fiber web to a patterned sheet 20 comprising fibers and having a pattern formed by the differences of characteristics selected from the group consisting of the color, arrangement and kind of the fibers constituting the sheet, and then (b) a process for applying a water jet treatment through the laminated substrate fiber layers 10, 30 and the patterned sheet 20 to integrally interlace the substrate fiber layers 10, 30 and the patterned sheet 20.
