AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing louver control device for obtaining enough amenity regardless of a seated position, a posture and a physique of an occupant. SOLUTION: The swing louver 10 swings a vertical louver 11 and a horizontal louver 12 in the blow-off direction of air-conditioned wind from a blowoff port provided in an instrument panel by driving step motors 13a, b. An occupant is imaged by two-dimensional non-contact sensors (infrared ray sensors) 30, 31 provided on the instrument panel, and the position of the head of the occupant is calculated from the distribution of intensity of the detection signals. The position of the center line including the head of the occupant seated on the seat is calculated from the position of the head and the seat slide positions from the seat position sensors 32, 33, and the direction from the swing louver 10 to the position of the center line is taken as the swing center direction.
