ELONGATION AND CONTRACTION MECHANISM OF EXHAUST AUGER FOR COMBINE HARVESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely retractable exhaust auger for a combine harvester, easily producible, having a low cost structure and economically constructed. SOLUTION: A mechanism is provided with a grain tank 3 for storing unhulled rice after reaping, threshing and sorting, and a standing vertical conveyor 18 for discharging the unhulled rice from the grain tank 3, wherein the upper part of the vertical conveyor 18 is connected with a turning base 15 of an exhaust auger 19 to be freely turnable vertically and horizontally. The exhaust auger comprises a fixed auger 11, a movable auger 32 externally fitted to the fixed auger freely slidably and a retractable actuator set on the base side of the movable auger 32, and an effector of the actuator is fixed on the fixed auger 11.
