GUIDE LINE DISCONNECTION DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide line disconnection detector which quickly detects a disconnection position of a guide line. SOLUTION: The guide line disconnection detector for detecting disconnection of a guide line laid on a driving route of vehicles is provided with an oscillator for applying an AC signal to the guide line, and a ammeter for detecting a current flowing to the guide line. When disconnection occurs, the output of the oscillator is applied between an end part of the guide line and the ground, and a disconnection position of the guide line is calculated on the basis of a measurement value of the ammeter obtained at that time, so that the disconnection position of the guide line can be accurately detected and restoration work of the guide line can be quickly performed. Since the disconnection position is detected by using the output of the oscillator for outputting the AC signal for guide to the guide line, the device cost is made low. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
