Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire earthquake information inexpensively and quickly by utilizing the 24-hour Internet connection. SOLUTION: The system is comprised of a combination of an earthquake prevention server 10 continuing to acquire earthquake information in real time and a plurality of receiving terminals 14 always connected to the Internet 12, and continues to update holding information of each receiving terminal, by transmitting an inquiry packet from each receiving terminal to the earthquake prevention server at regular time intervals not more than few minutes, using UDP/IP and sending back a response packet, in which necessary information is packed and which is as large so as not to be divided, from the earthquake prevention server to a corresponding receiving terminal.
