Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic shaft easy to assemble, quiet and low in cost. SOLUTION: An annular fastening member 5 is fitted in an end part 4 of an outer shaft part 3 after fitting an inner shaft part 2 and the cylindrical outer shaft part 3. A slit 9 extending from an opening end 8 of the outer shaft part 3 by a predetermined length is provided, and a diameter reducible part 10 is provided in a zone in a predetermined length from the opening end 8. A wide part 9 for regulating movement in an axial direction of the outer shaft part 3 of a fastening member 5 is formed at an intermediate part in a longitudinal direction of the slit 9 of the outer shaft part 3. A pair of recess grooves 11, 12 facing each other is formed on edge parts 9a, 9b facing the slit 9, and a wide part 13 is partitioned between the recess grooves 11, 12.
