Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage mechanism for a windmill blade having simple construction for preventing the entry of water from the outside in communication with a drainage hole while effectively draining water residing in the windmill blade from the drainage hole at the front end of the blade with rotating centrifugal force. SOLUTION: The drainage hole 3 is provided in the front end of the hollow windmill blade 2 and an opening/closing material 4 holds the drainage hole 3 to be in a closed condition with the energizing force of a spring 5. The opening/closing material 4 opens the drainage hole 3 against the energizing force of the spring 5 with the centrifugal force of the residing water in association with the rotation of a windmill and it is released from the centrifugal force of the water after drained to close the drainage hole 3 with the energizing force of the spring 5.
