STEEL PIPE SHEET PILE JOINT AND ITS CONNECTION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe sheet pile joint and its connection structure, allowing the discharge and cleaning of sediment in joint pipe steel pipes and tight filling of mortar therein. SOLUTION: A joint 3a comprises joint steel pipes 3 having slits 2 provided in the direction of the polyhedric axis of a steel sheet pile main pipe 1. Herein, a slit arrangement angle α of the joint steel pipe 3 to the steel sheet pile main pipe 1 in a range from a mounting portion center C1 to a slit position C2 is smaller than 120°. The steel pipe sheet pile joint has protrusions on the inner faces of the joint steel pipes 3. The steel pipe sheet pile 4 has the steel pipe sheet pile joint 3a in the direction of the polyhedric axis of the steel sheet pile main pipe 1. In the connection structure of the steel pipe sheet pile joints, the steel pipe sheet pile joints are fitted to each other and cement filler 8 is filled in the joint steel pipes 3.
