OPERATING DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device for construction machinery having an inexpensive mechanism, short dimension in the forward and backward directions, and excellent durability. SOLUTION: This operating device flips up and turns a control box 1 to a getting-off time flip-up rear position from a work time locking position around a protruding end 704 for supporting it by a support plate 3 provided in its rear part by lifting a getting-on-and-off shutting-off lever 4. A roller 705 is provided at a front part side position of the support plate 3. It is provided with a cam plate 6 which is stretched over between the protruding end 704 and the roller 705 and is locked to prevent the control box 1 from flipping up against elastic energizing force when the getting-on-and-off shutting-off lever 4 is positioned below and turns around the roller 705, comes off the protruding end 704 to release a locking condition, and moves in the direction of flipping up the control box 1 when the getting-on-and-off shutting-off lever 4 is lifted.
