Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cycloalkanol and/or a cycloalkanone, by which a cycloalkane can be oxidized in good operability at an advantageous cost to produce the cycloalkanol and/or the cycloalkanone in good selectivity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the cycloalkanol and/or the cycloalkanone is characterized by oxidizing the cycloalkane with molecular oxygen in the presence of an oxide containing cerium and zirconium. It is desired that a solid solution is formed from cerium oxide and zirconium oxide in the oxide. It is desirable that the oxide is preliminarily reduced with a hydrogen-containing gas.
