Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and improve the convenience in an air conditioning unit used in an air conditioner for a vehicle. SOLUTION: In the air conditioning unit, an intake door 3, a blower fan 4, an evaporator core 6, a heater core 7, an air mix door 8 and mode switching doors 9, 10 are stored in a casing 2, and air inlets 15, 16 and air blowout ports 17, 18, 19, 20 are formed in the casing 2. The blower fan 4, the evaporator core 6 and the heater core 7 are arranged in the width direction of the vehicle, and the casing 2 is divided into two parts in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
