MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF BATHTUB JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint material capable of easily sealing the gap between a bathtub and the peripheral wall surface and allowing a person to attach the joint after setting the bathtub so that the bathtub is easily set and to easily construct the joint material without floating. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the bathtub joint for sealing the gap between the outer peripheral end of the bathtub and the wall in a bathroom has an engagement means in a hanging piece hanging downward from the top of the rim of the bathtub to be engaged with a lock part in the bathtub joint. Accordingly, if the bathtub joint is engaged with the hanging piece hanging downward from the top of the rim of the bathtub, it is not necessary to determine whether the lowest end of the hanging piece of the bathtub and the joint material are engaged or not, which is difficult to determine. Furthermore, as the hanging piece hanging downward from the top of the rim of the bathtub has the engagement means, the bathtub joint can be easily replaced by applying the force of pulling it upward without temporarily removing the bathtub.
