Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast reception system and a broadcast reception method which can downsize a device and reduce cost. SOLUTION: The broadcast reception system is provided with a first antenna (108) receiving a broadcast signal having a first frequency band, a second antenna (112) receiving a signal having a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, a frequency conversion means (114) converting the signal having the second frequency band into the first frequency band, a selection means (116) selecting either a broadcast signal from the first antenna (108) or an output signal of the frequency conversion means (114), and a demodulating means (110) demodulating the signal selected by the selection means (116).
