PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple operation environment by displaying a menu having a book type user interface on an apparatus having a display device. SOLUTION: A menu control part 103 and a detailed menu control part 111 create, change and delete an operating menu according to a structure of the operating menu managed by a menu structure management part 104 by a direction of an input reception part 102 to create the operating menu; an index control part 112 finds a position on the structure of the operating menu in the display, creates an index representing the position on the structure of the menu; an operation guide control part 105 creates an operation guide of menu items in operation; an operating instruction control part 113 creates operating instructions as required according to a direction of the reception part 102; and a display content combination part 110 combines created display contents to display the result on the display device 107.
